IAS Success Story Mamta Yadav AIR 5 Know Story


IAS Success Story: Every meritorious student has a desire to pass the UPSC exam and become an IAS or IPS. But it happens to very few people that they can pass this exam. Mamta Yadav, a 24-year-old resident of Haryana, became an IAS after achieving success in the Civil Services Examination 2020. In this examination, he secured the fifth rank in All India.

Mamta Yadav kept preparing for the Civil Services Examination for four consecutive years, then somewhere she got success. In 2019, Mamta Yadav got 556th rank. But she could not become an IAS with this rank. While his dream was only and only to become an IAS. The family members encouraged him and especially the parents. Mamta started trying to become an IAS again, for this she also worked hard. Passed the Civil Services Examination again in the year 2019. She also started training for the Indian Railway Personnel Service but she was not satisfied with it. She tried once again and this time she succeeded in becoming an IAS officer by securing the fifth rank.

Mamta Yadav’s father Ashok Yadav, a resident of village Basai in Haryana, works in a private company. Her mother Saroj Devi is a Grahani. He completed his studies till class 12 from Balwant Rai Mehta School Greater Kailash Delhi and graduated from Hindu College, University of Delhi.

10 to 12 hours of study every day

Mamta graduated from Delhi University after completing class 12th. After this she started preparing for UPSC. Mamta did self-study with coaching. To pass the exam, she took the help of NCERT and other books. Mamta says that earlier she used to study only for 8 to 10 hours daily. But with so much study she felt that she would not be able to achieve her goal, so she started studying for 10 to 12 hours daily. Mamta’s father gives the credit of his daughter’s success to his daughter and her mother. He says that his daughter has made him proud by becoming the first IAS officer of the village.
